  • existing boundary tree & shrub borders extended into sweeping curves to draw the eye around the garden & encourage exploration 
  • new borders & gravel access paths created around the house
  • patio at the rear of the house extended & sweeping pathway installed to link with summerhouse & deck
  • new access created at rear of house, leading to circular seating area & pergola 
  • area of existing white-stemmed birch trees extended & under-planted with spring bulbs 
  • planting to completed in two phases – additional trees & shrubs planted in Autumn 2009;  herbaceous perennials & large structural grasses planned for Spring 2010
