- garden layout inspired by geometric window features, which helps to integrate the house with its surroundings
- phase 1 included: formal entertaining area, improved access around the site, informal dining area, removal of over-mature hedges & large trees to open up site
- low dry stone retaining walls feature in both formal & informal areas, creating continuity around the garden
- formal entertaining area contains a large circular patio, with metalwork gazebo, which interlocks with a semi-raised circular lawn
- phase 2 will include: ornamental vegetable garden, orchard of fruit & nut trees with mown paths through rough grass, additional informal seating area at bottom of orchard
“We are delighted with the outcome. This garden needed a radical solution and we would not have had the courage to tackle it without the insight & support from Belinda. It has been transformed”
