(advice required for new garden layout in conjunction with house development; design proposal submitted for client's consideration)

Large wooded site in Auchterarder
(garden design for new lodge house along with planting design for an ornamental woodland area) (design work started - February 2010)

Exposed hill-top garden in Fife
(garden & planting design to integrate a recently modernised & extended farm cottage into 1 acre grassed plot; shelterbelt planting, privacy screening & sheltered outdoor seating areas required, along with some recontouring of ground adjacent to house; wind & wildlife (deer, rabbit, mole) provide additional challenges) (site masterplan completed - January 2010; shelterbelt planting & planting design underway -  February 2010)

Consultancy & design advice for rural cottage in Glendevon
(recommendations provided for tree felling to open up the site whilst retaining its rural character; garden design commissioned to create seating area, vegetable garden & woodland walk to the side of the property(construction completed January 2010 & awaiting planting by clients)

Amalgamation of two, irregularly shaped, sloping front gardens in front of a terraced cottage in Falkland to form a single bird & wildlife friendly space
(natural stone walls used to divide the integrated  space & to create different  levels; 3 distinctive planting zones - birch woodland underplanted with perennial meadow, ornamental woodland & prairie-style area with summer flowering herbaceous plants & ornamental grasses - design completed & awaiting construction in 2010)

(architect-designed space needs to be softened wtih shrubs, climbers & herbaceous perennials -  tree & shrub planting completed; herbaceous planting due spring 2010)(collaborative project with John Frater of Plantforms)
