Amalgamation of two, irregularly shaped, sloping front gardens in front of an old terraced cottage in Falkland to form a single bird & wildlife friendly space
(natural stone walls used to divide the integrated  space & to create different  levels; 3 distinctive planting zones - birch woodland underplanted with perennial meadow, ornamental woodland & prairie-style area with summer flowering herbaceous plants & ornamental grasses - design completed 2009; construction ongoing July 2010)

Family garden plan & planting design for steading development in Dollar
(garden part-developed prior to involvement so layout needed to integrate with existing features; construction planned for September 2010 with planting design to follow)
